Roy Bridge Village
Roy Bridge lies east of Spean Bridge in Glen Spean which is an area of geological interest and has a significant Highland history.
The village of Roy Bridge, which lies on the A86, has two village Inns. We recommend The Stronlossit Inn where good service, good food and good cask ales are assured. There are a few B & Bs and several self-catering options to consider - some of these are listed below.
The West Highland Line - Glasgow - Fort William railway passes close-by with train stations at Tulloch, Roy Bridge and Spean Bridge.
Just north of Roy Bridge is Tulloch, and then the Loch Laggan reservoir, part of the RioTinto Alcan Hydro Scheme and a great place to go fishing! Not too far from Roy Bridge are the Parallel Roads in Glen Roy - an interesting geological example of past glaciation in the Highlands.
Beyond Roybridge at the north-east end of Loch Laggan - a huge inland freshwater loch, is the Land of Monarch of the Glen.
